2025 vs 2008 US civics test: which one you take

uktest.com/us practice uses the official USCIS 2025 bank (128 questions). We do not mix the 2008 bank into the public practice UI. If your N-400 was filed before 20 October 2025, study the 2008 materials on USCIS — not a mixed bank here.

Which test you take depends on the N-400 filing date, not the interview date. USCIS Study for the Test: filed before 20 October 2025 → 2008 test; filed on or after that date → 2025 test.

No. The pass percentage remains 60%. Source: https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-12-part-e-chapter-2

What is the 2008 format for earlier filers?+

Up to 10 questions from 100. Pass 6. Fail at 5. The officer can stop. Study that version on USCIS, not on this 2025 practice bank.

What is the 65/20 special consideration?+

Study the 20 asterisk questions in M-1778. The officer asks 10. You need at least 6 of 10. Which version you study still follows the filing date. Language of choice applies only under that special consideration. Source: M-1778 and the Policy Manual.
